13th Annual Young Artists Gallery (YAG) March 13-15th
The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove will host its 13th Annual Young Artists Gallery (YAG) March 13-15th, a joint program between the Woman’s Club and the Miami-Dade County Public School System. A number of the students who participate are from low income environments where support for the arts is not available. This juried art show allows students to be involved in an art gallery setting and win accolades, earn funds for tuition and sell their art, if they wish, to an audience of art patrons. The Exhibition runs throughout the weekend on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 PM. Alberto Carvalho, Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools is Honorary Chair of this event that benefits Miami-Dade County students.
